Steve started out on the electric in 1988 taking lessons from guitarist Jeff Catania in North Jersey. He was influenced by many of the guitar heroes of the 80's including George Lynch, Eddie Van Halen, Vito Bratta, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Joe Satriani.
